To learn about the feature rich environment of ClearMeet and Marratech Manager, simply roll your pointer over the outlined areas of the screenshot below. You can also experience the different view options by clicking the viewer toggle.
Marratech Client Interface
Document Control - Create new or open previously created whiteboard pages and navigate between them from the pull-down menu or navigation arrows. You can choose to be led or lead others to specific pages, invoke application sharing and change the zoom level of your own view.
Editing Tools - All the common drawing tools are available (lines, arrows, boxes, elipses) as well as a text insertion tool and virtual highlighter pen. Add impact with a broad palette of colours (including transparency) and varied font library. You can even take video snapshots from your webcam and each user has their own individual pointer - labelled with their user name - to aid interactive discussions.
Whiteboard Pane - A shared space for the realtime creation of whiteboard slides. You can import Word, Powerpoint and PDF documents as backgrounds as well as common text and image file formats as movable elements. Use the extensive drawing tools to annotate and highlight areas of interest and save the resultant image as a file for later use.
Viewer Toggle - Switch between Whiteboard and HTML browser views using these tabs. Click now to demonstrate.
Video Window - Displays the active audible participant's video image on everyone's screen. The refresh rate and image quality can be adjusted so that even low bandwidth users enjoy good lip-sync.
Participants Pane - This pane displays all of the participants of the meeting. Those with active webcams display a thumbnail video image, others just their name. You can even voice- and text-chat privately with any participant by clicking the 'P' symbol, safe in the knowledge that your conversation will not be overheard
by others.
Text Chat Pane - Any participant can add IRC style text chat to a meeting including asking questions and posting clickable URLs and e-mail addresses. In addition, this pane displays information about persons entering or leaving the room, whether it has been locked, etc...
AV Tools - Simple 'on/off' buttons for activating your own webcam (if attached), microphone and speaker / headphone outputs. For those without headsets, use the microphone button in a 'walkie-talkie' mode by clicking when ready to talk.
Here are some of the cool things you can do now with Marratech and Clearmeet...
Application Sharing
Take things a stage further by sharing your desktop via the built-in VNC server. Simply drag a box over the area you want others to see and decide who can then take control! Awesome for interactive discussions, working on a live file or for enabling access to platform specific software.
Interactive Presentation
Prepare whiteboard pages offline and import them on-demand or create new pages during a meeting with the intuitive drawing tools.
Engage in the meeting presentation with 'Follow page changes' or take control and lead others by clicking 'Lead page changes'.
Record and Playback
Meeting too important to miss? Need to show it to others later? Then simply invoke the built-in recording feature at will. All 'group' media elements are recorded in realtime to your local hard disk to be replayed on demand. You can even upload previous sessions to the rooms own secure ClearMeet session library for others to access as required. Great for reviewing a decision making history.
